Orlando Flight Guide
Orlando is centrally located in sunny US state Florida and is a popular destination for families. There are numerous theme parks, shows and attractions that are great fun for people of all ages. Orlando is not far from the Atlantic coast and the Gulf coast so that water sport fans have the option to drive to the beach. It is also a good place for extensive shopping trips and has many green spots to rest and enjoy the shade.
There are beautiful residential homes in downtown Orlando which is also the centre for nightlife and has a variety of shops. "Walt Disney World” is by far the most famous theme park and visitors can even book a hotel here. Part of the Disney theme park is also “Celebration” which was created to be a perfect designer shopping area. Built in ancient British style with townhouses, it is also a great place to eat and drink. “Universal Studios " is increasingly competing with Disney due to its great hotels, restaurants and attractions. Cheaper hotels and restaurants can be found on the highways "US192" and "International Drive" where tourists can also explore the numerous Greek style buildings and countless shopping malls.
The Orlando International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world. Thus, there are plenty of airlines to choose from and it is recommended to compare different offers before booking. Nevertheless, passengers from Australia don’t have the option to fly non-stop, so it is best to look out for 1-stop flights that take travellers to Orlando in approx. 20 hours via Los Angeles or San Francisco. If possible, avoid booking flights with more stops as the travel time can rise up to 27 hours.
