The Federal Republic of Nigeria is located in West Africa on the Gulf of Guinea and is bordered to the west by Benin, Cameroun to the east, Niger to the north and Chad to the north east. It is the most populous African nation. Its largest city is Lagos. Other major cities include; the capital Abuja, Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, Zaria and Port Harcourt on the Atlantic coast.
