The nation of New Zealand is located in the Tasmanian Sea to the south east of Australia. It is composed of two main islands commonly referred to as the North Island and south island. Its capital is Wellington and largest city is Auckland. Other major cities include Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton and Manukau. The official languages are English, Maori and New Zealand sign language. One of the most famous tourist destinations is the Milford Sound. Other places to visit include; Lake Wakatipu, Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers, Mount Cook, Mount Ruapehu and Lake Taupo.
