Vietnam Airlines, the national carrier of Vietnam, has its main hub at Ho Chi Minh City. Flights are available to the city from both Sydney and Melbourne. In conjunction with its codeshare partners, Vietnam Airlines currently flies to 38 destinations internationally and 18 domestically.
Vietnam Airlines operates Business, Y-Deluxe and Economy class on its aircraft. Airport lounge access is available to passengers holding tickets for Business Class. Inflight entertainment is available on flights lasting over three hours. Meals and beverages are offered to all passengers.
Golden Lotus Plus is the frequent flyer programme operated by the airline. Membership is available at Gold, Titanium and Silver levels. Gold members may access the Business Class lounge, even when travelling on an Economy Class ticket. All members can accrue points to redeem on free flights.
