Regional Express (Rex) provides a service connecting bush areas of Australia to the major cities at reasonable prices. The airline was formed in 2002, as a merger of Hazelton and Kendell Airlines. Destinations served by the airline include Parkes, Wagga Wagga, Coober Pedy, Port Lincoln and Taree. Passengers with an e-ticket and without baggage to check in may check in online. This facility is available from 48 hours before the flight, to 60 minutes before take-off.
Regional Express operates a one-class cabin on its aircraft. Membership of Rex lounges is available for an annual fee, allowing entry to the lounges on the day of departure or arrival of a booked flight. Members may purchase guest passes for up to two guests.
RexFlyerThe airline operates a loyalty programme called RexFlyer. A membership fee is payable, and travellers may then earn a free flight for every nine flights on the network.
