WOMADelaide  is Australia's largest and most appreciated world music and dance festival. For four days in 2010 Adelaide's botanic gardens will turn into an enormous festival which attracts over 70,000 people over the event with about 10,000 of them coming from interstate and overseas specifically for the event itself.

At a festival with arts, dance, food, music and festivities from around the world coming to Botanic Park, people of all ages will love and celebrate the laidback festival atmosphere.

WOMADelaide festival is a part of the WOMAdelaide Foundation Ltd which is a not for profit body which was established for the purpose of establishing the festival itself. The foundation also serves to foster and develop educational activities and cultural exchange through the program. All donations to the foundation are fully tax deductable. The WOMAdelaide foundation identifies its main goal as focussing on and developing arts and cultural project with indigenous artists.

Previous acts have inlcuded Gotan Project (France, Femi Kuti (Nigeria), Asha Bhosle (India, Daara J (Senegal), Alpha Blondy (Ivory Coast), Ozomatlit (USA), Peter Gabriel (UK), Ernest Ranglin (Jamaica), Los de Abajo (Mexico), Toto La Momposina (Colombia), Baaba Maal (Senegal), the Drummers of Burundi, Youssou N'Dour (Senegal), Sheila Chandra (India/UK), Guo Ye and Guo Yi (China), Christine Anu (Australia – Torres Strait), Fun Da Mental (UK/Pakistan), Justin Vali Trio (Madagascar), Radio Tarifa (Spain), Salif Keita (Mali), Joji Hirota (Japan), Shooglenifty (Scotland) and many more.
