Virgin Blue has laid down plans to build a 500 square metre lounge at Perth airport. The new lounge or have capacity for a little over 120 guests.
The new lounge at Perth airport is due to open in December 2009 and will be on the ground floor of the Virgin Blue terminal. There will be a number of services available including business facilities for those who wish to continue working while on holiday. There will also be a large range of other options for those who want to sit back and just relax. Extra features will include HD plasma televisions and a wide variety of newspapers and magazines for guests to read.
The new Virgin Blue lounge will also be offering complementary food and beverages. Guests will receive a variety of choices when it comes to premium beverages and there will also be a variety of gourmet snacks to choose from.
Different refreshments will be made available at different times of the day along with coffee, tea and hot chocolate being made to order. A wide selection of beers and wines will be served in the Lounge after 11 AM.
There will also be many other benefits to having a membership of the lounge including flight information display screens, shower facilities, desktop computers and complementary wireless Internet access.
